My recent articles have been heavy because the world has been pressing in from every direction. It’s been crisis after crisis, and Black people are carrying all of it in our bodies. So today, I’m shifting the energy. Not pretending things are fine; just choosing to make space for what keeps us steady. Today, let’s pause, breathe, and turn our attention back toward ourselves. Toward Black breath, Black grounding, and the kind of loving‑kindness that lets us rest without losing our edge.
